AOL is dying on September 30. I remember AOL, sometimes fondly and at other times not so much. AOL was the gateway to the internet, bulletin boards, and a host of information, for those of us who could not directly patch into the network. AOL CD-ROMs were everywhere, in grocery stores, in hardware stores, in dental offices, sent to you in the mail…snail mail, not email, since you had to be on AOL to get email (flashbacks of “you’ve got mail)! You did not have to ask, it just came. And AOL was highly successful, with a user base of around 20 million at its peak. You logged in using a modem, which would make sounds until the connection was established. If you listened carefully, you could tell if the connection was successful or not before the computer would figure it out.
But technology marches on. Once DSL came, people left for the speedier always-on connection of 5 MB to 20 MB/sec…and then fiber.
Are YOU still using old technology? Probably not old internet technology, but what about your time tracking technology? When AOL was at its peak, I was using pen and paper to track my time, and if I was being ambitious would enter the data into Notepad or even better Excel. While Excel had its downside, it was the most advanced technology for tracking time in those days. Is this you, still using ancient technology track time when the world around you has changed? You do not use ISP technology from the 1990’s, why would you use time tracking technology from that era?
TimeCatchApp is today’s time tracking technology plus, using the power of today’s technologyto make your life easier, speedier and more efficient. And that plus is an efficiency bundle you won’t get anywhere else: Integrated invoicing, document control attached to projects and specific tasks, retention of discussions with your project that will not be deleted due to Teams retention policies, and more! By using TimeCatchApp, users can conservatively save up to 9 hours a month, just on time tracking. But the savings are even greater if you include the disruptions inherent in the old technology, where you repeatedly have to change your focus from your work to tracking your work. These changes can cause a reduction in work output and an elevation in your stress. The benefits of TimeCatchApp include:
- Time-tracking: One click time start and stop, so you do not get distracted when writing down the time or using other systems. This is where the conservative savings of more the 9 hours a month occurs, according to our studies
- Timesheets: No time card entry, ever. TimeCatchApp tracks it for you. Saves you an additional more than 3 hours a month!
- Invoicing: Time entries neatly get put into invoicing directly with no additional input. You do not need another system for this, and the invoices are instantly created, manually or on an automatically set cycle. You can then preview and send the newly generated invoice directly. Saves you 1 hour per billing cycle.
- Document Storage and Management: Documents are stored right with your tasks. No need for external data storage technology. Estimated to save you 10 minutes per document save/retrieval.
- On the go: TimeCatchApp can be accessed from your computer or mobile allowing you to track your time anywhere anytime.
- And more: You get access to newer technology being developed. We are currently working on an AI proposal writer. Coming soon to those who sign up!
The best part of all this? It costs you nothing to join! Return on investment of infinity…the best investment you will ever make.
